The C Jewish scale has the formula 1, b2, 3, 4, 5, b6, b7 with notes C, C#, E, F, G, G#, A#
The Jewish scale is also known as the Phrygian dominant scale, since it is similar to the Phrygian scale except with a major 3rd note. It is used in flamenco music, and traditional Jewish music (like the popular song, Hava Nagila).
