The C Jewish scale has the formula 1, b2, 3, 4, 5, b6, b7 with notes C, Db, E, F, G, Ab, Bb
The Jewish scale is also known as the Phrygian dominant scale, since it is similar to the Phrygian scale except with a major 3rd note. It is used in flamenco music, and traditional Jewish music (like the popular song, Hava Nagila).
